Alhamdulillah.
It was our first time to have 1st day raya celebration in Sg. Petani, Kedah. Went to visit Tok Mamu, Tok Mami, plus other relatives in Penang island. Oh yes, alhamdulillah the Penang Bridge was still okay in that first day of raya.
Went to Tunjang, Kedah, late in the evening for gathering with my (mom-sided) relatives. The next day, we went to TokLang's house as usual. Also went to Kuala Nerang to visit TokSu's family. Met Ika, she's now an SPM candidate this year. Being my junior in my previous secondary school, may Allah bless her with an excellent spm result (not to forget all of my relatives with the same age too!), inshaallah.
Rethinking 'bout my family history, this blood I'm carrying is a blend of mamak (from my TokDaddy-belah-ayah. most probably my great great grandfathers was immigrants from Punjab, India), melayu (from my MakTok-belah-ayah's family), bugis (from my ChaqWan my mama's daddy. no wonder sometimes i can get mad easily, haha. alhamdulillah i can get over with it easily too) arab (from my ChaqTok Sara my mama's mommy. So sad I don't have the chance to meet her, but alhamdulillah she passed away in tanah suci Makkah. may Allah bless her).
